Aisha Jamila Hinds, an American actor who is most well recognized for her appearances in the television shows The Shield and True Blood. Since her appearance on the show in 2003 she has proven her range in acting giving outstanding performances in television series such as 9-1-1 Detroit 1--8-7, and Under the Dome. Her performance on Assault on Precinct 13 from 2005 was the very first role to attract her attention. It was, however, her portrayal of Fannie Lou (a feminist activist for women's rights) on the biographical All the Way film that led to her fame as an actor. Hind was also acknowledged for her portrayal of Harriet Tubman in WGN America's period television drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television has renewed the show for a third season. Bachchan gained the title of Queen of Bollywood with her portrayal of Paro the lover who was betrayed in Devdas the film, which was one of Bollywood's most acclaimed films. The film was also the first Bollywood film to show at Cannes Film Festival. The film received acclaim for her performance in Chokher Bal (2003), a dramatic drama based upon RabindranathTagore's book. In the same year, she was selected as the first Indian actress to be on the Cannes Film Festival Jury. Bachchan played as a character in Gurinder Chadha's Bride and Prejudice a musical and dance version to Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. Bachchan could bring her glamour and shine in her debut English film. Bachchan returned to Bollywood for the smash Dhoom: 2 (2006) ahead of releasing Provoked The Story of Provoked True Story (2006) in English. Abhishek Bachchan was a popular actor and son of Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan. In April 2007 she got married to him. It was a union of two popular Indian actors.
