Big Time Rush The Big Time Rush, an
American pop boy group formed in 2009, is a pop group from America. The group
is made up of Kendall Schmidt and James Maslow as well as Logan Henderson and
Carlos PenaVega. They signed initially with Nick Records in 2009. Then,
Columbia Records transferred them to their new label. The group appeared on
Nickelodeon's TV series with the similar title, Big Time Rush. The show ran
from November 28 in 2009 until July 25, 2013. The pilot episode featured
"Big Time Rush" the group's first single as a promotional track. The
band has released three albums, including BTR in 2010 and Elevate in 2011 and
24/Seven in 2013. The group went on an indefinite break in 2014 that was
extended until 2021. they returned to live performances and released the single
"Call It Like I See It". Nickelodeon signed Big Time Rush a record
deal in 2009 as they were simultaneously airing the television series Big Time
Rush. In the following year, Nickelodeon partnered with Columbia/Epic Label
Group to create the show, and also to add original soundtrack to the show.
Their first single, "Big Time Rush", appeared on the series' November
29th 2009. Officially announced by Nickelodeon the show was first broadcast in
the U.S. in November 2009 before it was launched worldwide. It premiered during
a special preview of the show. It's currently the show's theme. Promo singles
like "City is Ours", "Any Kind of Guy" and many more were
released during the series. Big Time Rush also covered a Play song titled
"Famous". The song came out on iTunes on June 29, 2010. The second
song, "Halfway There", was also released on iTunes after it's
premiere on the series. The song quickly became the first song to chart on
Billboard Hot 100. Due to the sales of digital music the song climbed to number
93. To celebrate the release of their debut album, Big Time Rush released
"Till I Forget About You" on the 21st of September 2010. On October
11, 2010 the album, which was titled BTR it was released to the general public.
The album reached the top 3 spot on the Billboard 200 and sold 67,000 copies
within the first week.
