Zachary Galifianakis

Zachary Knight Galifianakis (Greek pronunciation 1 October 1969) was a famous American actor, comedian musician, writer, and comedian. He was a performer, comedian and host of Late World with Zach (VH1) Galifianakis has been in films like The Hangover trilogy (2009-2013), Due Date (2010) and The Campaign (2012). He was also in Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance) (2014) as well as Masterminds (2016). Galifianakis has voiced characters for animated films such as Puss In Boots (2011) and The Lego Batman Movie (2017). He also voiced Missing Link (2019) and Ron's Gone wrong (2211). Galifianakis is currently host of the talk show Between Two Ferns, with Zach Galifianakis. Galifianakis was a star in the FX series Baskets. He was nominated in 2017 for the Primetime Emmy Award as Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series. Zachary Knight Galifianakis, a North Carolina native, was born on October 1, 1969, in Wilkesboro. The actor is the father of Mary Frances (nee Cashion), and Harry Galifianakis, a heating oil dealer. His mother is an English-Irish as well as Scottish and his paternal grandparents are Greek immigrants from Crete. His father was an Greek Orthodox Christian and he was Baptized. He is the father of Merritt and a younger sister, and Greg who is his older brother. The cousin Nick Galifianakis is a Washington Post cartoonist and his uncle Nick Galifianakis is also a politician. Galifianakis attended Wilkes Central High School and later went to North Carolina State University where he was a communications student. He was an operator of a radio station at an access station for the public while at college. In the year 1991, he was a teacher in an waltz class and came across Mary J. Blige. Galifianakis was the Saturday Night Live host for two weeks following his television debut at Boston Common. Galifianakis said he was a part-time employee on Saturday Night Live for two weeks and Britney Spears hosted during one of those weeks. I sketched a picture. Will Ferrell was to serve as her bodyguard on the belly button. We planned to shrink Will to appear to be the belly button. After I explained the concept to her, she simply looked at the sketch. She then replied, "Yeah, that's funny." Galifianakis played in Out Cold and also had roles in Corky Romano, Below, Bubble Boy and Heartbreakers.
